Some of the dogs that come to CAESSR cannot be matched with ‘forever’ homes due to terminal illness or just old age, instead they are matched to long term foster homes.  In these foster homes, carers offer the spaniels a loving and secure home with the extra care and attention needed to look after these special dogs.

These foster dogs often need a lot more care and attention than many other dogs; for example, regular vet visits, permanent medication, and a lot of TLC.   Whilst CAESSR volunteers can offer barrow loads of TLC for free, unfortunately vets bills and medication isn’t, and that’s why we are asking for your help to Sponsor-a-Spaniel.

If you decide to sponsor a dog, you will receive a Sponsorship Pack, containing a certificate and personalised letter from your spaniel friend, together with a photograph, and a CAESSR Car Sticker and regular emailed updates on your dog. CAESSR’s “Waggy Tales” newsletter will also be sent to you as it is available.  Why not sponsor a spaniel as a special gift for someone else who has a passion for spaniels?

Please download and complete the Sponsor-a-Spaniel Form from here. Regular donations can be made by completing the Standing Order Mandate. One off donations can be made by cheque or on-line via PayPal.

Please post your completed form to:

If the sponsorship is a gift, please also advise the full name, address (and if possible email address) of the person for whom the gift is for. Please also advise who the gift is from (as you would like it to appear on the sponsor letter). Also please let us know whether you would like the pack sent to you to forward, or direct to the recipient.
