To all at CAESSR,

Tilly came to us from you on the 2nd dec 2016.

She’s ace, but needs lots of baths :-))

Hello from Maisie!

Thank you for finding me my new home I am settling in really well and having a great time here! I love my long walks and big runs in the countryside ; mainly runs as I am full of energy and curiosity and there’s lots to sniff and see here!

I like car rides too - but mainly getting very muddy in the fields and woods. I’ve made new friends with my new neighbours Izzy and Molly, a fellow springer and a cousin cocker! We all get very excited when we meet up!

Here are some pics of me looking really great!

We adore Digby as he does us. He has now had his first christmas with us and got lots of presents including a jumper which he hated!

He has just had his first birthday with us too so more gifts and treats, he especially loves my son who walks him everyday and is often found curled up on his bed.

He has been very well since we had his and only visited the vet to show off his new hair cut. We thank the previous owner for sending us this bundle of fun ❤️

Hello to all at CAESSR from Shetland,

Here I am at my new home, playing with my friend from next door.

Lots of love from Cooper

Hello everyone at CAESSR -

I just thought I would send some photos of Luna as she has just had her second birthday!

She is a much loved member of the family and a real character.

She is exceptionally smart, has fantastic recall, is very loving and has mainly overcome many of her insecurities with a lot of hard work; although she still has some issues which we are working on.

Her previous family can be reassured she has a great life and daily long walks. She has lots of friends!

I will be starting scent work training with her this year as her real talent seems to be there.Luna and I tried agility but it wasn't for us.

Susan and Luna ( Lottie) :)

Hi DI, Ian and John,

What can we say? We’ve had Watson for just over a month now and he settled from day one !!

He is such a sweet-natured, laid-back, loving boy who we all adore.

He’s brought so much happiness to our family- we are enjoying lots of lovely walks together, in meadows and woodlands and Watson has even been on a doggy agility course !

Everyone we meet falls in love with Watson.

A big thank you to everyone at CAESSR for letting Watson come to live with us and a huge thank you to Watson’s first family as they brought up a lovely dog.

Keep up the good work CAESSR and best wishes to you for 2018,

Love Alan, Nicola, Daniel, Grace and Watson.

Hi John,

Just wanted to reassure you Jak has settled really well, feels as though he has always been part of us. He is mostly very responsive to instructions, apart from when he finds a shell to destroy at the beach!

He is such a lovely character

Best wishes

Hello Lisa

Happy New Year

Hello and Happy New Year to all my friends at CAESSR from Daisy.

I’ve been with my new folks for just over a month now so thought I’d let you all know that I’m settling in and finding my feet. I’ve already made sure the neighbourhood cats know that, from now on, if any birds and frogs in our garden need chasing (and they do) it’ll be me that does it. I’ve also discovered our resident hedgehog that my folks didn’t know they had.

It was fun meeting all my new family on Christmas Day. Everyone said I am adorable (which I already knew) and bought me loads of lovely presents.

After Christmas my folks took me on a long car journey to our other home at the seaside. It was very rainy so I haven’t been on the beach yet, but we went on a big noisy steam train and a ferry to Dartmouth and had lunch in a smart restaurant. Mum & Dad say I was as good as gold all the time and didn’t put a paw wrong.

We went to somewhere called ‘Doggy Class’ last night. There were lots of new humans to meet and dogs of all shapes and sizes. I was quite scared at first but everyone was very friendly. I tried really hard to join in all the new games everyone was playing and enjoyed all the titbits I earned. My mum and our teacher, Auntie Kathryn, said I did really well for my first night. Mum says I’ll need to write again and let you know when I pass my Kennel Club tests.

My new folks send a big thank you to everyone at CAESSR for letting them adopt me. I’m just the perfect dog for them, and also thank you so much to my first family for bringing me up so well.

Lots of love & licks from Daisy

We have to say how much we have enjoyed our first week with Andy. He is a delight and has fitted in extremely well to our family and especially with our 4.5 year old Springer, Buster.

He has adjusted to our routines, enjoys the walks and play with Buster. He sleeps with Buster outside our bedroom without fuss and seems to be learning our commands quickly - recall has been relatively good - we are impressed.

A little tricker has been the introduction to the cat - fortunately the cat is of stern stuff and is holding out well. We are certain that within a few days/weeks, they will both acknowledge each others space, as we have had no mega fights between them as yet.

I have attached some photographs of Andy and Buster together to assure you of their friendship that is developing.

Thank you for trusting us with Andy, we are looking forward to many years with him. Can I please ask that you send his innoculation details, etc to our vet as soon as possible. I have taken him in for a general check up in preparation of being castrated on Monday 8th, so having his medical info would benefit them.

Many thanks

Debbie and Steve

Hi John,

Happy New Year!!

Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year.

Just wanted to update you on Paddy (and didn't want to keep disturbing you by phone!)

Paddy is settling down really well and has such a great character! His legs have healed now and we have increased to a lead walk of about 30 minutes a day which he loves. It was quite hard in the ice and snow as we had to make sure he didn't damage his legs. He has completed a course of 4 injections to help his legs and he is booked into hydrotherapy in a weeks time (by vet referral). Paddy enjoyed Christmas and lots of people bought him balls, toys and treats (he is loved by everyone who meets him). We are allowed to play tennis ball with him as long as he doesn't jump too much.... I have never seen such delight as when Paddy first had his tennis ball back.

Paddy and Suzie get on well and complement each other.

Thank you so much for matching us with Paddy, he is really loved in his forever home and brings so much joy to our family, and thank you so much for all you and the team do.

From Fiona, Ian, Alex, Suzie and Paddy
