Dear John

Just to let you know.........we had a good journey back. Maisie was scared but laid on the floor for the whole journey. We took her into the garden as soon as we were home and she just loved it. She was exploring and wagging her tail.

She was excellent with our cats, totally ignoring them. She is already bonding with both of us and pawing at us to scratch her chest. She spent the evening mainly sitting by Robin and then chose to sleep by his side of the bed overnight. She slept right through the night, no problems.

I have already taken her for a 25 minute walk on my own this morning which she thoroughly enjoyed and we are about to take her for a longer walk with Ollie and Daisy. We have a dog ramp for the Land Rover which we will use until she looses some weight and can easily jump in and out herself.

We are really pleased with how well she is settling...she is a dear little dog.

Will keep you updated.

All the best

Inga
