Good morning Ian…….we re-homed Toby from you in October 2013.
Sadly we had to have him put to sleep on the 7th March, so we had him as part of our family for 5 ½ years
He was a wonderful dog in every way and brought us so much joy…we will miss him terribly.
We are now at an age where re-homing another Springer (Toby was #5 ) would not be right for us or the dog. However, if as we have done a couple of times, we can help you here in the south by visiting/assessing prospective re-homers for your dogs , please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Please find attached a pic of Toby, he was a real news hound.
I have also attached a poem by R C Lehman which was published in ‘Punch’ in 1902 Originally ‘’Rufus a Spaniel’’
This was copied to me by a friend nearly 30 years ago when we lost our first Springer, and I have subsequently changed the name to those of our dogs as we lost them. We think it says it all about this wonderful breed.
Thank you for all the good work that you do
Kind regards
Chris and Bob
