Hi John
Unfortunately Oscar passed away at the weekend, very unexpected as no sign of illness whatsoever. Had his usual walk on Cannock Chase with both of us on Friday afternoon but within half an hour he was very uncomfortable and in some distress. Took him to vets at penkridge and after bloods and a scan thought he had acute pancreatitis left him there overnight but took a turn for the worse on Saturday evening and he had a further scan on Sunday morning . He had a growth against his pancreas so nothing could really be done a very hard decision was then made with a very heavy heart to let him go quietly and without any suffering. After over nine years of having him must say gave such pleasure to both of us and everyone how came into contact with him such a star. So really need to put the beating heart back into the house I realise that we can never find another Oscar but would like to give another rescue a forever home. However Anne says must be golden and of course a Cocker.
Best regards
Chris
