Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

PIPPA

PIPPA

Pippa is a 3½ year old Red show type Cocker. Her owner is unable to give her the attention she needs. She craves constant companionship and suffers with separation anxiety. Pippa is good with children of all ages. She is good with other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. She is good on the lead and will not loose you if off lead. She travels OK in the car, but can be a bit nervous.

BAYLISS

BAYLISS

Bayliss is a 4½ year old Orange show type Cocker. He needs a new home due to a change in his owner's working hours and he is not getting enough exercise and attention. Bayliss is used to children of all ages. He is used to cats and other dogs. He is brilliant on the lead and if off lead, comes back straight away when called. He travels well in the car.

RUSSELL

RUSSELL

Russell (Russ) is a 4 year old Black, show type Cocker Spaniel. He is a loving and obedient dog, but he has taken a dislike to the owner's husband, who is severely disabled. Russell is great with all other family members - including all the men-folk! He lives happily with another male dog. He has not lived with children or cats. Rus can be left happily for short periods and has the run of the downstairs part of the house. He walks well on a halti lead and his recall is very good. He travels well in the car. Rus will steal food, if left in his reach and likes to tear up paper.

BERTIE

BERTIE

Bertie is a 6½ year old Liver and White Springer, whose doggy companion recently passed away. This has affected his behaviour as he is not wanting to be left home alone and his family work long hours. Bertie loves affection and is good with children of all ages. He is good with other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. Bertis is good on and off the lead and responds to a whistle. He travels well in the car.

BUDDY

BUDDY

Buddy is a 4 year old Liver and White show type Springer. He is good on and off the lead and he travels very well in the car. He is house trained and can be left for short periods. He has been living with children, but seems to dislike the daughter in the family, who likes to hug him round the neck and raise him on his back legs. He has bitten this child a few times, hence the need for a new home. He can also be a resource guarder, but has spent time with our trainer and is now ready for his new home.

OLIVER

OLIVER

Oliver (Olly) is a 3½ year old Liver and White Springer, who needs a new home as his owner cannot cope with him along with her children as her husband is away in the Navy. He pulls a lot on the lead and is barking a lot at male neighbours and workmen who come into the home. Oliver is very good with the children. He has not lived with a cat and hasn't had much socialisation with other dogs. He travels well in the car. He is OK off lead, but can suffer with selective deafness.

HUNNIE & HEIDI

HUNNIE & HEIDI

Hunnie and Heidi are 4 year old Cocker / Clumber Spaniel X. They are very bonded litter sisters and are looking for a home together. Hunnie is White with Orange ears and is more Clumber. Heidi is Orange Roan and is more Cocker. They need a new home as their owner is now working long hours. They love children - especially Heidi. They have not lived with cats. They are good with other dogs, but Hunnie can be spooked by big black dogs. They have been walked, on the lead, near livestock. They are good on and off the lead. Both travel well, but can get excited. They are good girls and Heidi needs Hunnie, who is top dog! Heidi has had an operation on one of her eye-lids - but everything is now OK.

BLAKE

BLAKE

Blake is a small 14½ year old Black show type Cocker, who ugently needs a foster home. He is completely deaf and is almost blind (he can see shadows). He has had bad hips all his life and he can struggle a bit in bad weather. He is very good with the young child that he lives with and he used to live with another dog until two years ago. He has met cats and rabbits and is more curious than anything else. He still pulls a little on the lead, but he cant be let off lead due to his deafness. He travels well in the car and he is quite a sprightly dog! Blake needs a nice secure garden and someone to snuggle upto in the evening. He needs a new home as his owners are moving into rented accommodation.
