Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

MEG

MEG

Meg is a 19 month old liver & white springer. She belongs to a young couple with a toddler and she has been spending the majority of her time either unsupervised in the garden or in her crate in the kitchen. Meg is quite timid as she hasn't seen much of "the big wide world". She is brilliant with the toddler. She is brilliant when off-lead but needs a bit of lead training. She travels well in the car.

GRACIE

GRACIE

Gracie is almost 2 years old and is a liver & white springer. CAESSR is looking for an experienced home for Gracie and where the new owners are not too far away so that they can come and visit and walk her a few times prior to adoption. Gracie came to CAESSR suffering with fear aggression. She belonged to a disabled lady in a wheelchair who was trying to train her as an assistance dog. She became very traumatized. The kennel staff, our behaviorist and our volunteers have been befriending her and she will now go walking happily alongside other dogs. She is looking for a home with no children. She is quite good on the lead. She travels well in the car but may initially have separation anxiety issues.

ROSCOE (COOPER)

ROSCOE (COOPER)

Cooper is a 9 month old black working type cocker. He needs a new home as his owner is working full time and also has health issues. Cooper is cuddly and affectionate but is becoming destructive when left home alone. He has met children when out walking. He is good with other dogs but has no cat experience. He walks well on a harness and his recall training has been started. He travels well in the car.

GUNNER

GUNNER

Gunner is a 13 month old golden working type cocker. He needs a new home as one of his owners is poorly and the other is working full time hours. Gunner thrives on interaction with his family. He adores the children and loves his home comforts but needs more activity and exercise than his owners can give. He lives with an older female dog who is blind. He can be wary of large dogs. He also lives with a cat. Gunner still chews things and needs a plastic dog bed rather than a soft one. He pulls on the lead. His owners use a slip lead. His recall is already quite good. He travels well in the car in a travel crate and he can be left for short periods but has always had the other dog for comapny.
