Rehomed

Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

TILLY

TILLY

Tilly will be 10 years old in March and is a Liver and White Springer. She was taken to her vet as she was fighting with the other female Springer in her home. She has no cat experience. She is good on the lead. When off-lead Tilly likes swimming and fetching balls, but she doesn't like other dogs coming up to her so her owner puts her back on the lead. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods. Tilly is looking for a home where she will be the only dog receiving all the fuss and attention. She also needs a home where there are no children or visiting young children as she can be a jealous dog.

ERIC and ERNIE

ERIC and ERNIE

Eric and Ernie are 4 year old Springer x Cockers and are litter brothers. Eric is Liver and White and Ernie is Liver Roan. They need a new home as their owner has sadly passed away. We are looking for a home where they can stay together. However, if this is not possible each of them will need to be rehomed where there is a doggie companion. Eric and Ernie are used to children. They have lived with a cat and are good with other dogs. They pull a bit on the lead. Their recall is good. They travel well in the car and can be left for short periods.

PENNY (was Gizmo)

PENNY (was Gizmo)

Gizmo is a 10 months old Liver and White springer. She needs a new home as she is growling at the two youngest children in the home. One of the children has learning difficulties. Gizmo is used to other dogs and cats. She pulls on the lead, but is very good when off lead. She travels well in the car and can be left just for very short periods.

POPPY

POPPY

Poppy is a 5 year old Black working type Cocker, who needs a new home as she is being attacked by one of the other female dogs in her home. Poppy has a slightly nervous disposition. She is used to older children and she has lived with a cat. Another of the female Cockers in her home is her mum and Poppy and her Mum are very good when off-lead and come back when called. Poppy is quite good when on the lead. She travels well in the car. She has not been left home alone for more than a couple of hours, but has the company of the other dogs.

POPPY

POPPY

Poppy is a 7 year old Black and Tan working type Cocker. She has always lived in the same home. Her owner is now a child minder and Poppy is not keen on her home being so busy with young children. She doesn't like crawling babies. She is happy with the children in her own family and has been brought up with them. Poppy is good with other dogs. She is good on the lead and when off the lead she doesn't run too far from you. She has no cat experience. She can suffer with a dry skin and has an allergy to a certain washing powder. Poppy has had two litters of puppies and is now spayed. She can be left for short periods and she travels well in the car.

BENSON

BENSON

Benson is a 10 month old Black working type Cocker. He needs a new home as his owners cannot give him the exercise that he needs as they are coping with a young autistic child and are living in a very small home. Benson's owners both work and they leave him for long periods in his cage. He is starting to protest at this and growl. When the owners are at home, Benson has free run of the house, but has started to guard the upstairs and won't let anyone come up. Benson is good with the young child who can be rough with him, but he has never growled and snapped at him unless he was trying to get upstairs. He is good with other dogs and if off lead he wants to run and play and won't recall. He pulls with excitement when on the lead but soon calms down. He travels reasonably well in the car. Benson is being very good at our kennels and is very friendly with the kennel staff. He is a very clever dog. He needs an experienced homeĀ  where he can get lots of activity and stimulation as he loves to be outside.

SOOTY

SOOTY

Sooty is an 8.5 year old Black and White show type Cocker. His owner needs to move into rented accommodation where she cannot keep a dog. Sooty is used to children and is really good with them. He has lived with a cat, but is not used to sharing his home with another dog. He pulls initially on the lead with excitement and then is better. His recall used to be good with the owner's ex-husband. However, Sooty will not recall for her so she doesn't dare let him off the lead. Sooty travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

ROSIE

Rosie is a 10 year old Black and Tan show type Cocker. She is looking for a retirement home where she will be the only dog getting all the fuss and attention. She is showing aggression to the other female Cocker in her home. Rosie is a calm friendly dog towards children and adults and to other dogs outside the home. She is used to cats. She is good on and off the lead. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.
