Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

ARCHIE

ARCHIE

Archie is a 5 year old Black and White Springer. He needs a home due to a change in family circumstances. Archie has quite a nervous personality. He is good with children and other dogs, but he has not lived with a cat. He is good on and off the lead. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.

JERRY

JERRY

Jerry is a 10 year old Liver and White Springer. He needs a new home as his family are moving to Malaysia. Jerry loves people and wants to be with you wherever you go. He is good with children. At present he is living with a toddler and a baby. He is used to cats and is good with other dogs. He can tell you when he is hungry and when he needs to go out. He is used to being walked on an extending lead and just pulls a little. Recently, he has not been off lead as he is deaf in one ear. He gets very excited if going on a long journey in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.

CLOUGHIE

CLOUGHIE

Cloughie is a 5 year old Golden show type Cocker. He has become jealous of the toddler in his family and is regularly separated from the child in another room. Cloughie is barking and the neighbours have complained. Cloughie is good with older children but has not lived with a cat. He loves to play with other dogs. He is good on and off the lead. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

HENRY

HENRY

Henry a 4 year old large Golden show type Cocker. His owners are just about to have a baby and Henry has a dislike of small children. Henry has never bitten a child, but growls at them when they come near him if the children are visiting his home. He doesn't have a problem with children when he is out walking and he lives fine with three teenagers. Henry lives OK with a cat and with a female King Charles Spaniel. He pulls on the lead, but will stop if his lead is dropped. His recall is very good. He had hip dysplasia when a puppy and occasionally limps when it is cold. He loves water, but can become grumpy when tired and wet. He is very possessive with chews and bones. He travels OK in the car, but needs help to get in and he can be left home alone for short periods.

ROCKET

ROCKET

Rocket is a three year old Black and White Springer X Collie. He needs a new home as he has taken a dislike to the three year old child in  the family. Rocket has already had two homes in his life and is looking for a forever home. He would suit someone who likes to do agility or flyball. Rocket is brilliant on and off the lead. He would be OK with older children. He hasn't lived with a cat or another dog, but is good with other dogs outside the home. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.

BOW

BOW

Bow is an eight year old Liver and White Springer. He needs a new home as his owner has passed away and he is sad and lonely in his outdoor kennel. Bow has been a working gundog and is a lovely natured, well trained boy, who is looking for a retirement home. He is not house trained, but is clean in his kennel. Bow is gentle with children. He is good with other dogs and has lived with a cat in the past. He is good on and off the lead. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

MARLEY

MARLEY

Marley is a 12 year old Liver and White Springer, who has been rescued by the dog wardens from a home where he was being ill treated. Marley is urgently looking for a permanent foster home. He is a very lovely natured dog, who is is good with other dogs. He would benefit from the company of another dog as he is a little deaf and also may have some separation anxiety when left home alone. He knows many commands. He doesn't like the washing machine or the vacuum cleaner! He pulls on the lead at first, and is then OK. He has a few small lumps and bumps and he travels well in the car.

DAISY MOON

Daisy Moon is just 9 years old and is a Blue Roan show type Cocker Spaniel. She needs a new home due to her owner's health problems. Daisy is used to other dogs as she has been staying with her dog walker recently. She is OK with children, but tends to ignore them unless she knows them. She is quite food orientated. She hates being kennelled. She doesn't really like being left home alone, but although she barks at first she does go to sleep. She travels well in the car, but whines a bit at first. When off lead she can have a bit of selective deafness!
