Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month
Tilly is a 10 year old chocolate cockerpoo who has come to CAESSR needing a new home as her owner has sadly passed away. Tilly is a very sociable dog who is used to children and good with other dogs. She is good on and off the lead. She travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods. Tilly has always lived with other dogs and needs to be homed with Daisy as the two are bonded.
Daisy is almost 3 years old and is a blue roan cocker spaniel. She has come to CAESSR needing a new home as her owner has sadly passed away. Daisy is used to children and has always lived with other dogs. She pulls a bit on the lead. Her recall is good. She is slightly nervous when travelling in the car. She can be left home alone for an hour or two but has always had other dogs for company. She needs to be homed with Tilly the cockerpoo as the two are bonded.
Patch is a 5 1/2 year old chocolate roan working type cocker. He is a very active cocker who needs more activity and exercise. He is incredibly affectionate and loving towards people and children. He is good with other dogs when on walks but may be best as an only dog as he can get too friendly. He hasn't lived with a cat but seems to ignore any he sees. Patch pulls on the lead but did have some training in his early years. He can retrieve a ball. His recall is not good and needs a lot more work. Patch is very clean in his kennel. We think he prefers to go on a walk rather than to wee in his garden. He has destroyed beds cushions so is best given a hard cushion to sleep on. He travels well in a car and can be left for short periods.
Arwen is an 8 year old black working type cocker with a white flash on her chest. Her owners have three young children who also like to go on walks with Arwen. The family live in a busy dog walking area and Arwen has become aggressive towards some other dogs when out walking with the family and they can't cope. Arwen is good with the children and has been a wonderful pet. She hasn't lived with a cat. She is good on and off the lead and can be left home alone for short periods. She travels well in the car.
Willow is a small liver & white springer who we think is about 8 years old. She was handed to CAESSR from the local dogs home as she was found as a stray and wasn't microchipped. It seems that she has had many litters of pups. She has now been spayed. Her teeth were in a sorry state and many have been removed. She has been bathed and groomed. Willow is a very pleasant dog and a little timid. She is learning to be house trained - following the other dogs in her foster home. She deserves a loving retirement home.
Molly is approximately 5 years old and is a black & white Springer. She needs a new home as she has become aggressive towards the other dog in the home. She is also not trustworthy with young children and her owners are expecting a baby soon. Molly needs to be the only dog in the home. She is a loving dog when she wants to be and is very lively. She walks quite well on the lead. When off lead she suffers with "selective deafness" so her recall needs work. She travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.
