Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month
Cindy is just 5 years old and is a black working type cocker spaniel. She needs a new home as both her owners are now disabled and their health is deteriorating. Cindy is a friendly dog but she hasn't been around young children. She is good with other dogs but has no experience of cats. She suffers with separation anxiety and gets very stressed when left home alone. She travels well in the car but hasn't had much experience. She pulls a bit on the lead. Cindy hasn't had much experience of being off-lead on walks but will come when called in the garden. A ball is her most treasured thing and it is difficult to get her to drop it!
Blaise is a 12 month old gold & white working type cocker spaniel. He needs a new home as his 70 year old owners can't cope with his energy levels and his puppy like behaviour in the home. Previously, Blaise was bought by an 80 year old couple. Blaise is behaving very well at kennels and he may benefit from being homed with another dog who is well behaved in the home in order to teach him the "house rules". Blaise is very good with other dogs but he has no experience with children or cats. His lead training is getting better and he is also good when off lead. He travels well in the car. He hasn't really been left much home alone.
Oreo is a 12 month old blue roan working type cocker spaniel. One of his owners has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition, so the family say it is not fair on Oreo as they can't give him the time he deserves. Oreo is used to children and he lives with a cat. He is also good with other dogs. He pulls a bit on the lead. His recall needs more training. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone just for a short period.
