Rehomed

Hunni is a 5 1/2 year old red show type cocker. She needs a new home as her owners need to move to larger accommodation and their new landlord will not allow pets at the property. Hunni is a lovely friendly dog but she doesn't like the new baby at her home. However, she is good with visiting children. She has lived with a cat and is good with other dogs that she meets on walks. She has good recall but can pull on the lead at times. She travels well in the car and can be left home alone just for an hour or two.

Carter is a 4-year-old working cocker. He is a very active dog and very easily excited. He needs a new home as his previous home struggled to cope with his energy. He needs help to teach him to be calm as Carter barks for attention, food and with excitement. CAESSR is looking initially for a foster home for Carter with view to rehoming. He would be best suited with a couple or a person with no dogs and no young children as initially he'll need a calm environment and plenty of exercise to help him. It is preferable that the foster parents have previous dog experience and are willing to work with our dog behaviourist in helping Carter. He is a lovely dog and very friendly to people but needs some socialisation around dogs as he becomes over-excited when he sees them. With patience and support he can become a much calmer dog and learn that calm behaviour will be rewarded. He travels well in a car. He walks well on short lead and will recall for a ball but can be distracted. 

Carter has a slight abnormality in his small intestine. He has also been allergy tested and needs to be kept on a special diet.
