Rehomed

Daisy is just 7 years old and is a Orange and White working type Cocker. Her owner passed away 4 years ago and since then she has been living with the owners elderly parents, who love her greatly, but realise that they need to find her more active owners. Daisy is just getting three walks a week when a vet nurse visits. She has not had contact with children or much socialisation with other dogs. She has not lived with a cat. Daisy has been groomed. She is not a confident dog, but is very loving.

Rosie is a 7 week old Black and White Springer x Cocker. She was born at our base. Her Mum is a Springer called Millie. Millie came to CAESSR due to a change in family circumstances and she had 3 weeks to go before the puppies were due to be born.

Isla is a 7 week old Tri-colour Springer x Cocker. She was born at our base. Her Mum is a Springer called Millie. Millie came to CAESSR due to a change in family circumstances and she had 3 weeks to go before the puppies were due to be born.

Bracken is a 9 year old Liver and White Springer. Her owner is working long hours and Bracken hates being left home alone. She barks and becomes very stressed. She has slight hip-dysplasia so can't walk long distances and will need low dose pain relief at times. Bracken is a friendly girl, but she hasn't socialised with children and hasn't had much socialisation with other dogs. She is mixing fine with the other dogs at our base. She has not lived with a cat. Bracken walks well on a lead, but her recall is not good. She travels well in the car.

Charlie is a 3.5 year old Black show type Cocker, who behaves more like the working type and needs a lot of exercise. His family now have no time to give him the exercise that he needs due to having three young children. Charlie is OK with the children, but is not very interested. He is quite a dominant dog and needs firm commands. When off lead his recall is reasonable with his owner, but not so good with the owner's wife. He may need more training. He pulls a lot when on the lead. Charlie is good with other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. His ears need regular attention and he sometimes needs anti-biotics. He travels well in the car. He loves to swim. He is not used to being left alone at home.-

Alfie is a 19 month old Liver and White Springer. Due to a change in the owner's circumstances he is not getting the time attention and exercise that he deserves. Alfie is an active Springer, who loves his walks and being part of the family. He is used to children of all ages and lives with another dog. He is not used to cats. He pulls a lot on the lead with excitement, however he is great when off-lead. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

Walter and Mollie are 2 year old Golden show type Cockers, who are litter brother and sister. They need a new home as their owners are expecting a baby. Walter is extremely affectionate. He is sometimes nervous in new situations and doesn't like being left home alone for long periods. He is comfortable around other dogs and has no history of aggression. He hasn't been socialised properly with strangers or children. Mollie is more independent than Walter and more confident in new situations. She likes to play with other dogs and is quite assertive. Both dogs are good when off lead. When on the lead, they pull initially and then settle down. Walter travels well in the car, but Mollie has occasionally been travel-sick. They have not been left home alone for more than a 4 hour period after a good walk.

Sky is a 9 year old liver and White Springer. Her owner is now ill with Cancer and cannot give her the time and attention that she requires. Sky has been a working gundog, who is now looking for a life as a pet - although she would still go beating. She is house trained and she has lived both inside and outside. She is used to children of all ages and has lived with other dogs. She has had experience of cats and is OK around livestock. She will be groomed prior to rehoming and her teeth need a good clean.
