Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

HALLEY

HALLEY

Halley is a 3 year old chocolate working type cocker with a white chest. She needs a new home as she is fighting with the other female dog in the home. She is a very intelligent dog with lots of energy. She has enjoyed hill walking with the owner and she loves her ball. Halley is good with older children. She has not lived with a cat. She pulls on the lead but has a great recall. She travels well in the car and can be left alone for short periods. She may need to be the only dog in the home.

HEMI

HEMI

Hemi is approximately 2-3 years old and is an Orange Belton Old Hemlock English Setter. He has come to CAESSR via the dog wardens as he kept running away from his home. His home was a Springer gun-dog home but the dogs lived inside, so Hemi is possibly house trained. He has a very friendly personality but we don't know if he has any experience with children. Hemi is very strong on the lead and has a high prey drive so his recall may be hard to train. He is food driven so there is a possible chance that he would respond to some training!

PICKLES

PICKLES

Pickles is a 6 1/2 year old golden tan working type cocker. She needs a new home as one of her owners is poorly. Pickles lives happily with an elderly collie but she can be wary of some larger dogs. She is used to older children but hasn't had experience of cats. She is good on the lead and on an extending lead. She is only let off lead in a secure field. She is a good traveller and can be left just for a short period. Pickles has had puppies and loves to carry around a soft puppy sized toy. She needs to be fed on a fish diet as she is allergic to meat. She can be vocal sometimes if she is worried about a new person or dog.
