Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

TOBY

TOBY

Toby is a 12 month old Liver and White Springer, who needs a new home due to a change in family circumstances. He is house trained and not used to being left home alone. He has not met cats or young children, but is used to teen-agers. He is good with other dogs. He pulls at first on the lead, but is not too bad and his recall is good. Toby travels well in the car. He fell down a rabbit hole when he was little and broke his leg, but it is all healed now.

ANGUS (was Ziggi)

ANGUS (was Ziggi)

Ziggi is a 4½ year old Black, working Cocker with a tiny bit of White under his chin. He has not lived with children or cats, but is OK with most other dogs. He will chase birds and will need to be kept under control near livestock. He walks well on a halti lead and when off-lead, he can suffer from selective deafness! He can be a little aggressive with food and will pinch objects and not give them back - he will need some training. Ziggi is a beautiful looking dog, who travels well and needs a new home due to a change in family circumstances.

MAX

MAX

Max is a large 18 month old Liver/White Springer with a full tail. He is very friendly, strong and full of energy. As with all of his age he needs plenty exercise to burn off all his excess energy. He lives inside and is not left for long periods. Max now needs a new home as one of his owners has sadly passed away and the other has to work. Max was raised with a young 3 yr old child and is used to cats. He will chase birds when off lead. He is quite good at recall, but would prefer to stay and play. He walks ok on lead without too much pull and he is very good in the car and loves to be handled.

LIBBY

LIBBY

Libby is an 8 year old Liver and White Springer with her full tail. Her owner can't afford to keep her. She is brilliant with children of all ages. She has not lived with a cat and can growl a bit, at first, at other dogs, until she gets to know them. She sleeps inside and can be left for short periods. She loves to play with a ball and also loves travelling in the car. She is brilliant when off-lead and is quite good on the lead, just pulling a bit, at first, with excitement.

HOLLY

HOLLY

Holly is a 4 year old Liver and White Springer, who needs a new home as her owner now works full time. She is used to children and is good with other dogs. She is frightened of cats and will chase. She is good on the lead, just pulling a bit at first, with excitement.

ARCHIE

ARCHIE

Archie is a 9 month old Black and White show type Cocker Spaniel. He is good with children and other dogs. He is house trained, but can wee with excitement. He travels well in the car. He has come to CAESSR from a local dog pound.

JACK and MASON

JACK and MASON

Jack and Mason need a new home as their owner is sick and his wife is expecting another child. They are very well looked after dogs. Jack is mainly Liver and White with a few Black patches, he is three years old and is a small dog. Mason is Liver and White and two years old. They are both brilliant with children. Mason is very good with cats and Jack is OK, but a bit obsessed with them. Jack is brilliant with other dogs. Mason is good, too, but can bark at other dogs he meets due to the fact that he was attacked when young. Both dogs have brilliant recalls and walk well on the lead - although Mason can pull a bit. Jack has had a toe removed, due to a lump, but the biopsy was clear. Both travel well in the car and can be left for short periods.

ZAC

Zac is a 6 year old Liver and White Springer. He is good with other dogs and with cats, but has not seen livestock. He is used to older children only. He is house trained and can be left happliy for short periods. He has an excellent recall, but still pulls on the lead. Zac has nipped, just once, when his owner grabbed his collar to move him out of the way - so he is no longer wanted.
