Rehomed

Millie is a 3 year old Black and White Springer, who has come to CAESSR due to a change in family circumstances. Millie had three weeks to go before giving birth to a litter of pups. She is used to children and other dogs. She has not lived with a cat. She has a problem with entropion on one of her eyes and she will need surgery prior to rehoming.

Poppy is almost 5 years old and is a Liver and White working type Cocker. She needs a new home as she is fighting with the other female Cocker in the home. She is used to children and good with other dogs outside the home, but has not lived with a cat. Poppy is very good on and off the lead. She has had gundog training, but hasn't worked for a couple of years and she would prefer a home where she would sleep inside. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

Tango is a small 15 month old Liver and White Springer with a docked tail, who is very lively and ball obsessed. She is good with other dogs and cats and is OK around livestock. She is used to living in an outside kennel. She is good on and off the lead. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods. When Tango came to CAESSR she was found to have a hernia an she needed surgery prior to rehoming.

Dodger is 5 year old Blue Roan show type Cocker. He is quite a large dog and is more Black than White. He needs a new home as Dodger and another male dog in the family have taken a dislike to one another and have to be kept separate. Dodger is good with all other dogs that he meets - he just needs to be the only dog in the home. He may be OK with a female dog. He is good with children and used to cats. He walks well on a harness and has excellent recall. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

Ted is a 10 week old Black and White Springer x Cocker. He was born at our base. His Mum is a Springer called Millie. Millie came to CAESSR due to a change in family circumstances and she had 3 weeks to go before the puppies were due to be born.

Jet is a 13 month old working type Cocker, who is mainly Black. He was homed by his breeder, but his owners couldn't cope. Jet is a nervous dog. He is looking for experienced, understanding owners. He is good with other dogs, but hasn't had much experience with children. Jet has been fostered by a working gundog person, who says that he needs a life as a family pet. He still has a fear of strangers and can be possessive with things - it is best just to ignore or distract him and he soon forgets to guard the object. Initially he didn't know how to behave when taken into an open space. He now really enjoys himself when off lead.

Morris is a 2.5 year old Golden show type Cocker. He needs a new home due to a change in family circumstances. He has a gentle nature and loves human company and cuddles and will follow you around the house. He is fine with other dogs when off lead and in the home, but sometimes he barks and lunges at other dogs when he is on  the lead. Morris is looking for an experienced / confident new owner. He has not lived with children, but is happy to be patted when out walking. He has not lived with a cat. He walks better on a halti lead and is generally good off the lead and doesn't go far from you. He can be left for short periods and has the run of most of the house. He is a bit anxious when he stays anywhere different. He is reluctant sometimes to get in a car, but once in he is a very good traveller.

Harvey is a 3 year old Orange Roan Brittany. He needs a new home as his family has a seriously ill baby. Harvey is brilliant with children and good with other dogs but he will chase cats. He pulls on the lead. His recall is good and he likes to go in the water but can't swim! Harvey travels well in the car. He is good when being groomed. He suffers with some separation anxiety so needs a home where he is rarely left or where he can have the company of another dog.
