Rehomed

Oscar is a 19 month old red working type cocker spaniel. His owners are finding him too difficult to manage and one of them has been diagnosed with cancer. Oscar is a typical lively working type cocker needing lots of exercise and stimulation. He hasn't had contact with children. He is good with other dogs but has no cat experience. He can be excitable when on the lead and does pull and his recall needs more work. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone just for short periods.

Meadow is a 7 year old working type cocker spaniel who is chocolate with a white chest. He needs a new home as he has attacked the elder male dog in his home. The owner is needing to keep the two dogs separated. He needs to be the only dog in the home receiving all the fuss. Meadow loves people and is very friendly when he meets new people. He hasn't had contact with small children. He is good with other dogs he meets on walks and he hasn't lived with a cat. Meadow pulls on the lead but his recall is good. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for a couple of hours.

Antonio (Tonio) is a 10 year old blue roan show type cocker spaniel. His owner is now receiving end of life care so Tonio is in need of a new loving home. Tonio has had a little bit of contact with children and was fine. He is good with other dogs but hasn't lived with a cat. He can pull on the lead and is very enthusiastic and likes to run free and he will come back to his name being called. Tonio can be quite vocal when he meets new people. He also has "dry eye" in one eye that is responding well to treatment and he allows you to put the drops into his eye with no bother. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for an hour or two.

Cookie is a 9 month old tri-colour show type cocker. She has come to CAESSR having already had two previous homes. She is good with other dogs but hasn't had any contact with children. She will need some house training. Cookie is good on the lead and her recall is already part trained. She travels well in the car and can be left just for very short periods.

Loki is a 14 month old black & white working type cocker spaniel. Loki came to CAESSR having had an emergency operation to remove a sock that he had swallowed. His owners were teachers with three young boys and Loki enjoyed hunting for socks left on the floor or in the laundry basket. Loki is a typical lively working cocker with a lovely personality. He pulls on the lead but he is good off lead - he won't loose you.

Penny is a 3 year old black working type cocker with a white chest. She needs a new home as her owner can no longer look after her. Penny is used to visiting children and has lived with other dogs. She has lived in an outside kennel but we think she also had access to the home. Her house training may not be perfect. Penny is a lively, affectionate  dog.
