Rehomed

Cole is an 18 month old Black working type Cocker Spaniel. He needs a new home as his owner has health problems and cannot manage to give him exercise and her husband works long hours. Cole is a very lively lad, who is quite a handful! He is very affectionate and brilliant with children. Cole is good with other dogs and wants to play. He can get very excited when meeting new people and can wee. He has been to training classes. He is looking for an owner, who can give him lots of activity and stimulation.

Scooby Doo is a 12 year old Liver and White Springer, who urgently needs a new home due to a change in family circumstances. Scooby Doo's owner has taken a new job and is leaving him for very long hours, which is not right for an elderly boy. He is a very active dog, who follows you around. Sadly, two years ago, one of the children left the front gate open and Scooby ventured onto the road. He was knocked over and has lost a leg. He still gets around extremely well. Scooby Doo is brilliant with children of all ages. He is used to cats and is good with other dogs. He still pulls a bit, at first, on the lead and his recall is very good. He travels well in the car, but is afraid of balloons and fireworks.

Cody is a 6 month old Gold working type Cocker, who needs a new home as his owner is moving and can't have a dog. He is a handsome dog and very affectionate. He already comes to a whistle and sits and stays. He is house trained. He is used to other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. He seems to be OK with children that he meets outside the home. He gets travel sick on long journeys but this is improving.

Todd is a 7 year old Black and White Springer. He needs a new home as he has caught the owner's wife's prize ducks. Todd is a lovely natured dog, who is used to children. He is good with other dogs and has lived with a cat. He is good on and off the lead and has been gun-dog trained. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods. When Todd arrived with CAESSR he had lumps that needed removing and he needed dental work.

Monty is a 9 month old Black and White Springer. He needs a new home as his owners can't give him the attention he needs. Monty loves his walks. He is a friendly boy, who is good with other dogs that he meets outside the home. He is used to children, but has not lived with a cat. Monty is house trained and can be left just for short periods. He pulls a bit on the lead and his recall is already quite good. He travels OK, but can whine with excitement.

Skye is about 8 years old and is a Black and White show type Cocker - more White than Black. She has come to CAESSR via the local dogs home. She was found straying and has not been claimed. Skye seems to be a very gentle and friendly dog. She was good at the vets and seems to be good and sociable with our kennel staff. Skye has come to us with a very bad flea allergy, for which she is being treated. This may take a month to clear and she cannot be fully vaccinated until then.

Flossy is a lovely 7 year old Liver and White Springer. She needs a better life as she has to spend the day in the utility room as one of her owners is at work and the other - although retired - is struggling with health problems. He is very allergic to dogs. Flossy is very affectionate and always wants to please - although she occasionally opens and empties the washing machine! She is good with children of all ages and is used to cats and other dogs. She pulls a bit on the lead and is very good off lead. She naturally walks to heel without being asked. She is OK when left for short periods and travels well in the car. Flossy has Cushings Syndrome and takes a tablet every day. She has had fits in the past, but not since she has been on the medication. She is good at taking her tablet and looks forward to her treat afterwards. Because of Cushings, her coat is patchy. Her owners are offering to pay for her continuing medication. They just need a loving home for their "Little Poppet".

Maddison is an 18 month old Black and White Springer. Her owner's mobility is rapidly decreasing so she needs a new home. Maddison goes to obedience and gun-dog classes and is very keen to work. She is very keen on socks so you need to be careful as she can swallow them whole! She is good with other dogs, but hasn't lived with children or cats. She seems fine with a friends visiting children. She is good on and off the lead and can walk to heel. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.
