Alfie is a 7 year old Orange Roan working type Cocker. His owner is now working away a lot. The family now have a new baby and do not have the time to give him the attention and exercise that he requires. Alfie is still a very fit active dog. He pulls a lot on the lead, especially at the start of a walk. When off lead you need to make sure he doesn't go too far from you - he may need a bit more training. Alfie has not had any experience of living with children. He is good with other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

Meg is a 7 year old Black working type Cocker. Her family now have a crawling baby and Meg keeps growling at him. Meg loves the teenage children that she lives with. She is good with other dogs and is used to cats. She pulls a bit on the lead. Her recall is excellent. She travels well in the car and can be left for short periods.

Charlie is a 6 year old Liver and White Springer. He needs a new home due to a change in the owner's circumstances - he is being left very long hours. Charlie has lived with his litter brother and hasn't socialised much with other dogs outside the home. He is behaving well with the other dogs at our base. He is used to children, but has not lived with a cat. He pulls on the lead, but is better on a halti. His recall is good unless he sees another dog when he and his litter brother will chase, but have never attacked. He travels well in the car and can be left for short periods, but has always had the company of his brother. Charlie is a sock-thief, but his owner can take it out of his mouth!

Gandalf is a 6 year old Blue roan show type Cocker. He needs a new home as the owner's young child is very rough with him and they are also unable to give hime the time and attention that he used to have. The couple have another child expected. Gandalf is a very loving dog, who is not used to being left home alone very much. He is looking for a stable home possibly with no children, where he will get all  the attention. He is good with other dogs, but has not lived with a cat. He is good on and off the lead and he travels well in the car.
