Hi Ian, I am writing with sadness to let you all know that Tilly Todd had to be put to sleep on Saturday. We’ve had the pleasure of having her as our pet and companion for just short of 4 years. Tilly had struggled more recently with a number of issues including deafness, dementia and latterly arthritis. Along with our local vets we did everything we could to maintain Tilly’s quality of life and at the end of last week we agreed that the time had come to let her go.
Tilly has been a constant companion to Mum and myself and her lovely nature shone through whenever we were out and about – she was clearly a favourite with everyone we met! We’ve enjoyed some lovely holidays in Devon and Cornwall and covered a lot of miles, investigating numerous dirty puddles, bushes and smells, not to mention the squirrel chasing over the last three and three quarter years.
We’d like to thank CAESSR for giving us the opportunity to enjoy such a special time with Tilly. She was very much loved and Mum and I are struggling very much with her loss.
I hope we will be in a position to adopt another CAESSR dog at some time in the future.
Best wishes.
Rebecca
